Hi, I’m Eric 👋🏼

I use this space to dive deeper into my adventures in art and tech. I’ll also be sharing more about my education journey and my mental health journey. However, unlike my emotional, opinionated, reactive, and artistic alter ego, Second Realm, here, as Eric, I approach things with a more thoughtful and analytical perspective.

Since 2019 I’ve been deeply immersed in Web3. My alter ego, Second Realm, is a award-winning crypto artist and renown trash art pioneer. He’s also responsible for creating the alt-punk movement and popularizing PFP derivatives and remixes.

I hosted one of the earliest NFT podcasts focused on the pioneering artists creating in this space. And my reporting on copyrights in Web3 was cited in some of the first academic papers written by legal scholars on NFTs.

Prior to that, I was a program manager at Twitter and consultant at Google focused on human-centered design and customer experience. And I spent a decade in the publishing industry helping New York Times bestselling authors grow their audience.

I also recently returned to Rutgers University after 27 years to complete my Bachelor of Science in social science with an individualized study in Visual Arts. I’m now a senior, and my expected graduation date is May 2024.
